Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate solicitation will not be issued.� This procurement is issued as a small business set-aside under the NAICS 811310 � Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The purpose of this requirement is to provide annual, documented inspection, testing, and calibration of cranes, automotive lifts, and hoist systems located on Defense Supply Center Richmond in accordance with the attached performance work statement (PWS). �As part of the inspection, the contractor is required to make minor repairs, which may include, but is not limited, to tightening screws, setting air gaps on brakes, greasing fittings, etc., all of which must be noted on the contractor�s inspection form.� This contract will be for one base year and four option years.� Vendors must quote on all years. Multiple awards will not be made.� Vendors must be located within the state of Virginia. ��Award will be made on the basis of lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) quote.� In order to be considered technically acceptable, vendors must be certified to inspect equipment in order to conform to OSHA compliant Inspection Program Standard 1910.179, Standards for Automotive Lifts-Safety Requirements for Construction, Testing and Validation, and ANSI standards and codes.� Vendors must provide proof of certification with their quote to be considered technically acceptable.� Vendors should propose their own contract line item number (CLIN) structure to include option year pricing.� Quotes are required to be submitted electronically through email to the contract specialist, Charlotte Bumgarner. Companies doing business with the Federal Government are required to use the System for Award Management (SAM).� In order to be eligible to receive an award for this requirement, vendors must have an active SAM registration.� The website to register, update, or re-activate an account at SAM is https://www.sam.gov. All questions and requests for information regarding this Request for Quote (RFQ) must be received NO LATER THAN 5:00pm EST two working days prior to the quote due date.� Quotes are due by 12:00PM EST on March 5, 2020.
