- General Information ����������� Document Type:���������������������� Pre-Solicitation Notice ����������� Solicitation Number:���������������� N00030-21-R-0002 ����������� Posted Date:���������������������������� February 27, 2020 ����������� Original Response Date:����������� March 12, 2020 ����������� Current Response Date: ����������� March 12, 2020 ����������� Original Archive Date:� ����������� March 26, 2020 ����������� Current Archive Date:�������������� March 26, 2020 Classification Code:����� ����������� J � Maintenance, repair & rebuilding of equipment ����������� Set-Aside:�������������������������������� N/A ����������� NAICS Code:�������������������������� 541330 � Engineering Services Title TRIDENT II (D5) Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding in Support of Navigation Subsystem Point of Contact (POC) Maytee Montalvan, Contracting Specialist, Phone: (202) 433-8433, FAX (202) 433-5394, Email maytee.montalvan@ssp.navy.mil, Alternative POC, Stephen Lupton, Contracting Specialist, Phone (202) 433-8405, FAX (202) 433-5394, Email stephen.lupton@ssp.navy.mil Description The Strategic Systems Programs intends to contract with The Boeing Company, 5301 Bolsa Avenue, Huntington Beach, CA to provide the following efforts for the TRIDENT II (D5) Navigation Subsystem:� (1) engineering technical support services and problem investigations for United States (US) and United States (UK) owned Electrostatically Supported Gyro Navigator (ESGN) Navigation Inertial Instruments and Equipment and Fleet documentation, (2) modification, refurbishment, and repair of US and UK ESGN instruments and equipment, (3) US and UK refurbishment of stable platform housing (SPH) and SPH support items including overhaul kits, (4) US and UK Gyro modification and repair services, (5) Ohio Class SSBN Engineered Refueling Overhauls, and 6) Inertial Navigation System (INS) Investigation support services. �The contract will contain both US and UK sponsored efforts for FY20 and options for FY21 efforts.� The Boeing Company is the only known source with the critical experience, expertise, personnel, facilities, and in-depth knowledge of the TRIDENT II (D5) Inertial Navigation subsystem required to perform the subject effort. �The contract will include an option provision to increase the level-of-effort items up to 30%.� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS.� The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Authority of FAR 6.302.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� All responses must be received within fifteen days from the date of publication of this synopsis. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Place of Contract Performance Huntington Beach, CA� 92647 and Heath, OH� 43056
