QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES: Where are any questions/answers posted in regard to this Solicitation? �No, questions/answers will be posted 02/27/2020. All information in references to this requirement can be found on Beta.sam.gov. In the bid, how do account for an Allowance for repairs/replacement parts needed? �Allowance for repairs /replacement parts can be included in the quoted price or billed after acceptance. Also, see information in the SOW under Contractor Task, item 4. The contractor shall guarantee the pipette calibration for 6 months and recalibrate or, if feasible, repair pipettes that fail within 6 months of calibration date at no additional charge when they are sent to the contractor. What is the public website where I can find the information posted from the previous bidder? beta.sam.gov/ can be utilized to reference the previous award. The previous award contract number is VA248-15-P-1567. The award notice provides limited information, the awardee and dollar value. Do you want all 52 pages of the solicitation emailed back to you? �No, there is not requirement to return the solicitation package back. However, please ensure to read the instructions to the offerors and submit the required documents. Can we let you know in a summary using the guidelines on page 28 of 52 Instructions to Offerors for submission of this RFQ? ��All documents will be emailed to shirley.courtney@va.gov �per FBO description. Can we get a copy of the last cert for a variable and fixed pipette so we can see how many reads you require for each pipette and how many volumes you need per pipette?� No copy of the last cert will be provided.� Necessary number of reads to calculate statistics required by CAP.�� For adjustable pipettes, each volume the pipette is able to measure shall be tested. Can you confirm there are no multi-channel pipettes and you only need AS Left Data Reports? There are no multi-channel pipettes. Scope: Page 5, indicates that all pipettes have to be done within an 8-hour workday.� Is this correct or can one technician be there 2-3 days during the 8-hour period? Contractor Responsibilities: Page 6, section C. What type of documentation on the report do you need that states we meet the CAP requirements?� Is our ISO Accreditation logo on the report meet this requirement?� See required information in the first paragraph of the Scope, items 2 and 3 under Contractor s Responsibility and item 3 under Contractor s Tasks.�Accreditation logo without required information is not sufficient. The attachment: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice: page 2 of 2 indicates: This procurement is a 100% set aside for Women Owned Small Business (WOSB). � Does this mean only Women owned companies can bid on this solicitation?
