- PROJECT TITLE: SLBE_Replace- Galvanized Piping at PRCG Pumphouse THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY!!! On or about March 16th, 2020, the Department of Interior, National Park Service, Interior Region 3,4, and 5 Major Acquisition Buying Office intends to issue a solicitation (140P6020R0004) on Federal Business Opportunities (https://www.fbo.gov), for a project replacing galvanized piping with Sch. 80 CPVC at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Empire, MI. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of offer. BACKGROUND: Work includes plumbing improvements to the Platte River Campground pump house water system. Work consists of: Removal of existing piping, valves, and accessories and replacing with new piping, valves and accessories per the project drawings and specifications. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Type of Contract: One (1) Firm-Fixed Price Contract will be awarded on a best value basis. NAICS CODE: 238220 (Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors). The small business standard is $16.5M. GENERAL INFORMATION: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $25,000-$100,000. Contract Period of Performance: Estimated at 45 days from contract award
