Description
The USDA Forest Service, Northern Region is soliciting quotes for Fireline Qualified, Idaho Licensed Emergency Medical Technician Basics (EMTF), Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMF), and Paramedics (EMPF) for use during fire suppression and all-hazard incidents within the State of Idaho. The Contractor is responsible for all equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, trained/certified personnel, and supervision and management of those personnel, necessary to meet or exceed the Agreement specifications. **This solicitation will require that medical service vendors have declared, and received approval for, an operational declaration that provides the proper licensure from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare to perform emergency medical services on a wildland fire. **Pre-season limited recognition approval from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare will be accepted as qualifying Idaho individual licensure for this solicitation.� Pre-season limited recognition must be approved by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare prior to award.� This acquisition is a full and open competition under NAICS 621910. Please read Section B � INTRODUCTION for information regarding the use and intent of an Incident Blanket Purchase Agreement (I-BPA), instructions on pricing and estimated quantity, and the basis of award.� This solicitation will result in multiple awards.���� The solicitation will be issued using the Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) system. Information about the VIPR system and a Vendor User Guide is located on the web at http://www.fs.fed.us/business/incident/vipr.php. 1) Vendors must have a valid e-mail address; all VIPR communications are conducted via e-mail. 2) Vendors must have a valid DUNS Number. Request a free DUNS Number from Dun and Bradstreet on the web at https://iupdate.dnb.com/iUpdate/companylookup.htm. 3) Vendors must be current in the System for Award Management (SAM) as stated in the solicitation. Vendors can access SAM at https://www.sam.gov/.� Offerors who have not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically in SAM, or who have changes to their reps and certs need to complete or update their information in SAM in order to be eligible for award. 4) Vendors are required to have a USDA Level 2 eAuthentication account that provides the ability to conduct official electronic business transactions.
