- Notice Type:� Pre-solicitation Notice FSC: N056 NAICS:� 237130 Subject:� Project ES 00049-6P �Provide Back Up Transformer Bldg.� 5882 S&M Area� Solicitation Number:� W912PF-20-Q-0027 Set Aside code:� N/A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: This is a Design-Build project.� �The Scope of the work consists of designing details and providing calculations and everything necessary to define all the works required to fulfill the scope of work, consisting of: Install a new spare transformer 1250kVA, 15kV/0kV, resin insulated type in the substation Bldg.� 5882; Remove the 2 (two) existing air grids on the West wall currently present one above the other, demolish the existing masonry and install a new fiberglass double-leaf door, ENEL type, complete with air grids.� Perform masonry works to perfectly fit the new door in the available space, including the installation of new concrete masonry if necessary; �Install a new emergency lighting fixture with green pictogram over the new door.� Connect the new fixture to the existing circuit feeding the existing emergency fixture; Install a new lighting switch next to the new door commanding the existing lighting fixtures; modify the existing lighting switch on the North wall and the wiring consequently; Install new cables, galvanized steel conduits and metallic boxes.� New conduits of and boxes, surface mounted, shall have a minimum ingress protection IP55, and Provide all the civil works related to the installation of the new door; restore masonry, plaster and painting (internal and external) where necessary METHOD OF CONTRACTING:� This is a Request for Quotation resulting in a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. ISSUANCE OF SOLICITATION:� 26 March 2020 RESPONSE DATE:� 28 April 2020, 12:00 PM �noon� (Local time, Rome, Italy) (Due-in date for the submittal of offer) PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The project shall be completed as follows: Design Phase:� 75 calendar days Construction Phase:� 60 calendar days Passes for construction shall be obtained during design phase WORK MAGNITUDE:� Between $25,000 (Euro 21,467.50) and $100,000 (Euro 85,870) FUNDING:� This project is funded. SITE VISIT:� A site visit will be held on 16 March 2010, 14:00 hrs.� The meeting point will be at Gate #27 (Depot Gate), Via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa).
