Description
COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart�12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Competitive proposals are being requested under solicitation number W912HZ20R0011.� This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued as 100% set-aside for small business. �The associated NAICS code is 333924 � Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 750 employees.� This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulation at FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-02 (12/23/2019) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DPN 20190531 (10/01/2019).� It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.� The clauses can be accessed in full text at https://www.acquisition.gov. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, MS has a requirement for Taylor GT-155 Industrial Lift Truck 2019 or newer model year or EQUAL in accordance with the attached specifications. Deliver to DPW, 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180 within 60 days of contract award. The following specifications at a minimum: Quantity:� 1 each FOB: Destination Vicksburg, MS -15,500 lb lift capacity at 24� load center -Diesel Engine -3-Speed Powershift Transmission -Oil cooled wet disk brakes -solid 8.25 x 15 x 14 PR Pneumatic Dual Drive tires -solid 8.25 x 15 x 14 PR Pneumatic Steer tires -Power steering with tilt -LED Headlights, Brake lights, taillights, turn signals -Audible backup alarm -LCD Display, low fuel warning, diagnostics -Hydraulic Double auxiliary valve for 4 hoses -Mast 130� Max Fork Height 2-Stage Mast with maximum103.4-in lowered height -GT Carriage shaft type 80� wide minimum -GT Fork 98� long x 5.9� wide x 2.4� thick minimum -Rear work light -Hydraulic Side shift and fork positioner -Operator Cab with heat, defrost, and air condition -Hydraulic Control Levers *BRAND NAME OR EQUAL The vendor shall submit with their quote, the latest published specifications and advertising literature on the machine they propose to furnish. If quoting equal product, please provide below information: Manufacturer�s Name: ______________________, Brand: __________________________ Model or Part Number: _______________________ To be considered for award in accordance with FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, offers of �equal� products, including �equal� products of the brand name manufacturer, must� (1) Meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation; (2) Clearly identify the item by� (i) Brand name, if any; and (ii) Make or model number; (3) Include descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information available to the Contracting Officer; and (4) Clearly describe any modification the offeror plans to make in a product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements. Mark any descriptive material to clearly show the modification. (a) The Contracting Officer will evaluate �equal� products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. (b) Unless the offeror clearly indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an �equal� product, the offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. Proposal shall be submitted via email to: ethel.d.grant@usace.army.mil.� Only electronic submissions will be accepted.� There are no page limits; however, documents must be submitted by email; therefore, max file size is 15 megabytes.� Please use the solicitation referenced in the subject line. Offers are due by 20 Mar 2020 at 2:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST).
