https://beta.sam.gov/opp/52837d40f44a42bb9b126043ce51f2db/view?index=opp&sort=-re... 2/24/2020 Notice of Intent to Sole-Source an Acquisition Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. � 3304(a)(1), FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), and VAAR 819.7007, the Government anticipates entering into sole-source procurement negotiations with TL Services INC, an SDVOSB, for Maintenance, Emergency Diagnostic and Repair Services on the Chiller Equipment (Attachment 1 - List of Equipment) at the Edward Hines Jr Veteran Affairs Hospital; 5000 South 5th Avenue, Hines, IL 60141-5000 Per the current contract 36C25218F0090 and in the best interest of the Government based on the ability to satisfy the Government s requirement in addition to their ability to commence/continue work with no down-time or ramp up . The above-cited authority and associated justification is made based on the determination that there is only one SDVOSB reasonably available to provide Maintenance, Emergency Diagnostic and Repair Services on the Chiller Equipment, and therefore, it is in the best interest of the Government to enter into sole source negotiations with TL Services, INC. Any other business or person may identify their interest and capability in fulfilling this requirement by responding to this Notice by e-mail to Jennifer.Mead@va.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday March 25, 2020. Pursuant to FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), this Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals; however, all communications received by the deadline will be considered by the Government. Information received as a result of this Notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation document is available at this time.
