- This is not a solicitation but rather a Request for Information notice to gather information for planning purposes only. This requirement is to procure air-rigged, air-deployable standard-sized profiling floats using two power source options.� One power source requirement must be a conductivity, temperature, depth (CTD) capability using alkaline battery packs.� The second power source must have CTD capability with lithium battery packs.� The profiling floats and float data must meet Argo program requirements and the profiling floats must be air-rigged and air/surface deployable. Please see the attached�DRAFT Statement of Work for complete program details. All information submitted in response to this�Request for Information notice�is voluntary and no information will be returned. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. Any information obtained will be considered market research and may be used as a general concept; however, any specific information will be treated as proprietary information and safeguarded, if marked as proprietary.
