- This contract was awarded under FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency.� Due to the urgent nature of the requirement, limited competition was completed for a timely award to meet the needs of the mission.� This request is for the procurement of two (2) Broadwing LAD attachments, four (4) batteries, two (2) battery chargers and shipping of this equipment.� The Broadwing-LAD is an attachment for the HBI-120 X-Ray Scanning Tool.� Viken Detection, formerly known as Heuresis, is the manufacturer of the HBI-120 Handheld X-Ray Imaging device. �This procurement is an urgent and compelling need as an evidence recovery operation is scheduled to begin March 23, 2020. The resultant contract was awarded as a firm-fixed price purchase order and delivery shall be on or before March 13, 2020. �Further justification available upon request.� ��
