- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Small Business source, ATS Trans LLC. The procurement is for wheelchair transportation services in the Puget Sound Catchment Area. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 485991, Special Needs Transportation. This procurement will be made under the authority of Title 41 USC 1901 and implemented by FAR 13.5 and 13.106-1(b)(2). The anticipated date of award is 3/30/2020. An award notice will be posted and accompanied by the Justification and Approval after award IAW FAR 5.301(a)(2) and 13.501(a)(1)(iii). This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
