- The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to vendor's question via attached Q&A document titled ""RFI QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS_AMENDMENT 1"" THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. � THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) � Carlisle Barracks located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability of potential 8(a), EDWOSB and WOSB firms for a Job Order Contract (JOC) for the Carlisle Barracks Directorate of Public Works (DPW) in Carlisle, PA. The information gathered will be used to make an informed business decision on how to procure this requirement. The market research will assist in determining availability of firms that are capable of providing JOC services in support of Carlisle Barracks.�� PURPOSE: This notice is for planning and informational purposes only and SHALL NOT be considered as an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Request for Proposal (RFP). There is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this RFI. Your responses to this RFI will be treated as information only. The results of the market research will be used to determine the best overall acquisition strategy. The Government is seeking responses to this RFI from all 8(a), EDWOSB and WOSB firms interested and capable of providing the requirement for a Base plus four Option Years. In response to this RFI, firms are highly encouraged to identify capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The purpose of the Job Order Contract is to support General construction project for Carlisle barracks, Carlisle PA. Provide a broad range of real property repair and construction at Carlisle Barracks. Potential projects include, but are not limited to, administrative facilities, maintenance shops, child development centers, physical fitness centers, maintenance shops, food service facilities, airfield structures (including rigid and flexible paving), roads, athletic fields, bridges, underground utilities, overhead utilities, gates, warehouses, and auditoriums. Projects may include incidental design, testing, studies, surveys, and abatement for lead-based paint (LBP) or asbestos containing materials (ACM). Facility repairs, renovations, and construction shall conform to the requirements of the technical criteria described in the task order (TO). Please see attached draft Statement of Work for additional information Information to Provide with your Response: 1.� Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status and the corresponding NAICS code. 2.� Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not.� Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. 3.� Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination.� 4.� Cost estimate 5.� Recommendations to improve the approach/specifications/draft PWS/PRS to acquiring the identified items/services.
