- The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program, Title III of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 (41 USC 251, et seq.); Title 40 USC 501, Services for Executive Agencies; and Section 803 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2002 (PL 107-107) and implemented by FAR 8.405-6 and FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to CareFusion 211, Inc., 26125 N. Riverwoods Blvd, Mettawa, IL 60045 CareFusion 211, Inc. will provide Pulmonary Function Testing equipment. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The place of performance is for the Marion, Illinois VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. The Marion, Illinois VA Medical Center is located at 2401 W Main Street Marion, IL 62959. The NAICS code is 339112 with a size standard of 1000 Employees. The solicitation number is 36C25520Q0290. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT April 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required equipment. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C25520Q0290, Notice of Intent. If after April 9, 2020, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department Of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with CareFusion 211, Inc. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
