- S02 Amendment Solicitation Close Date is hereby extended to 1600 hours EST., on 3 April 2020. Questions with answers in reference to solicitation 36C24520Q0265 H359--Electrical Testing-581 at the Huntington, WV VAMC: 1) Can Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) be provided to assist with proposal preparation? YES, see attachment 2) Can front view photos of key equipment be provided? NO 3) Can side drawing of key equipment be provided? NO 4) Is the contractor allowed to use existing on-site power to support testing? YES 5) What technical certifications or license will be required of the technicians performing the specific repairs mentioned as replacement of transformer temperature indicator, replace C-phase arrestor on transformer and replace B-Phase surge arrestor on transformer? OSHA 30 HR Certified (1.1.D-E). ��Refer to 26.00.00 1.2, A-C for minimum qualification requirements 6) For clarification, the temperature indicator (Trans. #1), C-phase arrestor (Trans. #2) and B-phase arrestor (Trans. #5) are to be furnished by the Contractor, correct?� YES� 7) For other repairs not considered minor, can the proposal include a ""not to exceed"" amount set aside option to cover those costs when authorized by the VA? NO 8) Section 1.2 PERFORMANCE (pg 8 of the solicitation) states: ""The Contractor shall verify conditions as they exist prior to bidding the project.""� What options are available to the Contractor if no site visit is planned? Coordinate with COR for site visit 9) Can an example of a previous shutdown schedule for the Huntington VAMC be provided to assist with proposal preparation? NO. �We will work with the successful contractor to build a shutdown schedule based on current infrastructure.� 10) Could you provide nameplate data for the items below in order to ensure the right replacement parts.? No significant repairs are to be performed under this contract. NO.� If the contractor would like to make a site visit to obtain the information, please coordinate with the COR for site visit.� Joseph A. Scheduling will be coordinated with the successful contractor.� 13) It mentions multiple appendices in the solicitation. Will these be provided? Appendices are incorporated in SOW.
