Description
Military Sealift Command Combined Synopsis and Solicitation Notice Information The USNS LEWIS & CLARK has a bona-fide need for the services of a qualified and certified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Sauer Compressors field service representative to perform Routine B Maintenance on the High Pressure Air Compressors.� The period of performance is TBD and location is TBD. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See attachments for justification of sole source, combined synopsis/solicitation and statement of work.� Amendment 0001 issued on 25 March 2020 is for the following changes and response to bidder�s questions. POP location and dates:� TBD Responses due:� TBD Question: The maintenance to be performed will take 2 days minimum per HPAC due to the actual work, lock out/tag out, component analysis, and data recording. Answer: Agreed to proposed workdays.� Please see SOW.Amend 0001 with removal of the following:� For estimating purposes, plan for two (2) 10 hour work-days on board the vessel on the statement of work. Question: Our Standard work days are 8 hours long, the additional 2 hours for each working day on board will fall under our Overtime Time rate. Answer: Agreed to proposed OT rate. Question: The travel to Chinhae will take 2 days each way, so I will need to quote you for 4 days plus overtime for every hour beyond the standard 8, included with each �work day� that the technician is traveling. Answer: Currently N/A.� Travel location TBD. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.�
