Description
Government intends to award to one source IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(b). Award will not be delayed waiting for vendor certifications. Short Title: Naval Air Station Key West LENEL Electronic Security System (ESS) Maintenance Contract 1. Places of Performance: Naval Air Station Key West (NASKW). 2. Period of Performance: 01 April 2020 to 30 September 2020 with an approved 2 optional years from 01 October 2020 to 30 September 2021 and 01 October 2021 to 30 September 2022. 3. Reference: NASKW ESS Maintenance FY20 Contract N68836-17-P-0935 4. Specifications: The Contractor shall perform all tasks in such a manner as to ensure the safety of their employees, other personnel, and government property. During the performance of tasks, if it becomes apparent at any time that the continuation of work may result in damage to personnel, equipment, or structures, the Contractor shall stop that portion of the work and report the circumstances immediately to the Contracting Officer (KO). The contractor shall use appropriate safety equipment and procedures that may apply to the various tasks under this order. It shall be the Contractor�s responsibility to adhere to all applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards and documents during the performance of tasks performed under this contract. 5. Security Requirements: The appropriate number of contractor employee�s, as determined by both the Government KO and the contractor, performing under this contract shall possess and maintain a non-critical sensitive status with a favorable NACLC. The contractor shall submit an unclassified site visit request a minimum of one (1) week before departing to the site (NASKW). The contractor shall submit visit requests to the KO. 6. There is a response time of 2 hours to return phone calls and onsite within 24 hours.(* very important doing storms and hurricane timeframe due to limited access to Key West)
