Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a commercial acquisition using FAR part 13. THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ). VENDORS SHALL NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES UNTIL THE RFQ IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor shall the Government pay for the information resulting from this posting. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in Puerto Rico has a requirement for an Air Handling Unit Replacement Service. The service is to be provided in the VACHS main facility located in #10 Casia St., San Juan, Puerto Rico. The NAICS code for this requirement will be 333415 Air Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) will be N041, Installation of Equipment-Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Air Circulating Equipment. Any resultant contract will be for a One-Time job with a period of performance of at least three (3) months but not to exceed five (5) months. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions and provisions. The tentative issue date for the actual solicitation is 14-21 days from this posting. Proposals will be due no less than 10 days after the issuance of any solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for Quotes. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. All respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov and complete online Representations and Certifications at http://www.sam.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at https://beta.sam.gov/. Quoters must obtain all notices and amendments to the solicitation through this website. Hard copies will not be mailed. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
