Description

This project consists of constructing 3.1 miles of new trail, stockpiling gravel, and constructing a parking area in the Murphy Creek area west of Superior, MT, and along Road #69.�� Construction of the new trail will include clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment to construct a 24� tread, and constructing rolling grade dips as necessary for drainage. Construction of Trail #735 begins at the junction with Southside Road #69 and Road #7857, approximately 4 miles west of Superior, MT (See Vicinity Map).� Road #7857 is designated as permanently closed for vehicle traffic (�A� closure on the Lolo NF Travel Plan map).� The Contractor will be provided a key to the locked gate for purposes of the contract. The centerline of Trail #735 is staked with 4� lath and occasional 10� stakes, as well as orange flagging.� Magnitude of Construction Project (per FAR 36.204(b)) - Between $25,000 and $100,000 Response packages can be mailed physically to Dana Bangart, Contract Specialist, 3710 Fallon Street, Suite C, Bozeman, MT 59718 or e-mail dana.bangart@usda.gov.
