THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists currently. Market Research is being conducted to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set-aside the requirement for small businesses. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Durham, NC is trying to determine whether to set-aside the acquisition for Fixed Prosthodontics Dental Laboratory services for an SDVOSB, VOSB, or Small Business interest. We are seeking a dental laboratory contractor that uses the Straumann brand name to provide fixed prosthodontics laboratory work for eligible veterans receiving dental care at the Durham VA Medical Center. The Straumann brand name parts are the major parts used for our implants and they come with a warranty. The Durham VA Medical Center dentists will provide legible dental service prescriptions. The dentists will provide accurate impressions and bite registrations. If a prescription is not legible nor clearly understood, the contractor must contact VA s Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) to obtain a clear and legible prescription. Please review the performance requirements on the attached performance work statement for the specific requirements. The NAICS 339116 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 500 employees, if your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: A positive statement of your capability to perform the required services (capability statement) Provide FSS/GSA Contract# if applicable. Identify whether your firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above Your response is required by Tuesday, March 31, 2020 by 12:00 PM EST All capable Service-Disabled Veteran Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. All the above must be submitted in enough detail via email to: anthony.long@va.gov.
