Description
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to extend the ordering period of the Army Mobile and Desktop Computing-2 (ADMC-2) contracts. The ADMC-2 contracts provide commercial information technology equipment for support of the Armys need for general purpose computers. The ADMC-2 suite of contracts is a total solution Army Enterprise that provides desktop computers, integrated desktop computers, workstations, electronic display notebooks, tablet computers, slate, thin client, ultra-thin client, printers, multifunction devices, and warranty. The proposed contract action is for hardware for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the ADMC-2 contractors. The current contracts are scheduled to expire on 23 April 2020. The contract extension will have an extended ordering period of 12 months from 24 April 2020 to 23 April 2021 and will consist of two six-month option periods. The extension will provide for continuation of uninterrupted deliveries to Army customers during the transition period of the existing awarded ADMC-3 contracts. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Not awarding this extension would cause serious harm to the Government; however, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received by the date and time identified. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement in the timeframe required. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of the sole source extension described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of Nathan Acree, Jr. the Procuring Contracting Officer. Written comments or questions regarding this notice must be emailed to Ms. Terry Kraker at terry.c.kraker.civ@mail.mil or Mr. Nathan Acree at nathan.e.acree.civ@mail.mil no later than 10:00 AM Central Time on 02 Aprill 2020.
