- Draft Statement of Work Communication is imperative to any organization and the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC is in need of reaching its patients, visitors and employees in a variety of formats. Digital Messaging Systems (electronic bulletin boards) offers an easy way to spread information to a wide audience in a short amount of time. It provides a way to inform, educate and make people aware of what is going on in the medical center, what events are coming up, and a way to promote awareness of specific health-related topics/requirements. Sonny Montgomery requires digital messaging software, updates and support. This will decrease the number of posters put up on the walls of the medical center, supplement the employee and patient newsletters because of its timeliness, and focus attention on key issues such as safety, quality and teamwork. The Contractor shall provide Software Updates/Upgrades; license and support (if applicable); 7x24x365 telephone and remote diagnosis technical support; Direct access to the Partners in Care Support Center. to G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center located at 1500 e. Woodrow Wilson Dr, Jackson, MS 39216. SCOPE: The digital messaging software shall include the following: It must be internet-based and meet all the specifications itemized on the Specifications Statement for equipment. Software will provide a 24-hour, continuous news, sports and weather feed on screen Vendor will provide the VA logo with on-screen banner for each plasma screen Contractor shall provide a fresh kit of workplace content on the server each month to display on all system screens. Content will address normal workplace issues such as motivation, teamwork, safety, positive attitudes, healthy lifestyles, employee recognition, VA News, holidays and special occasions, etc. Software must be itemized on the Specifications Menu and will not require the involvement or intervention by the VA IT staff. It must be self-sustaining and must update with new workplace content daily. Sufficient software will be provided to perform any digital display function, including: Photo uploads, PowerPoint, Excel spread sheets, compressed video, web-based files See Specifications Menu for required software. Software provided will enable user to place content in various screen layouts and to schedule display of VA content on any date and at any time within 30 days. Subscriber must have access to and be able to add or change content from any remote location where access to the internet is available. Provider must offer an unlimited array of graphic templates for the design and display of custom feature, on-screen backgrounds and headers at no additional cost. Provider will set no limits on the number of custom feature items available to the VA. A remote portal must be included to allow the VA Administrator to see on their desktop computer what is being displayed on the network screens at all locations. All information exchanged between vendor and VA subscriber must be encrypted for security purposes. If internet access is interrupted, system will still play continuously from cached content. Provider must offer IT support at any time via internet or phone. Provider must offer a training video for the advantage and benefit of any VA staff member who needs training or updating on procedures. Software must be installed by a licensed, reputable contractor and approved agreement between G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC and the vendor. Service shall be turn-key to include all required materials, installation, and setup Provide training for facility personnel on maintenance and system programming WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Contractor shall provide as follows: license connections for 1 KIT 20 Clones provide remote diagnostic support C. After setup, technician shall contact Biomedical Engineering at the GVSM VAMC, and a Biomedical Engineering Support Specialist shall verify that the system is functioning correctly.
