- The contractor was awarded a competitively awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to support the OFFensive Swarm Enabled Tactics (OFFSET) Sprint 5�program which will �enable: 1) the prototyping and integration of innovative component technologies into physical swarm testbeds to create new swarm-focused capabilities�and�the innovation and 2) integration of novel swarm tactics relevant to OFFSET Vignette 3. �The effort involves enough research uncertainties, the presence of which preclude the estimation of costs with sufficient accuracy to use any type of firm fixed-price contract.
