- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Air Force Recruiting Service's (AFRS) ""AIM HIGH Flight Academy"" AIM HIGH FLIGHT Academy is AFRS's STEM-based, avitaion-focused motivation and mentorship program designed to increase diversity in aviation career fields. The contractor shall coordinate/manage a turn-key aviation flight program that includes flight, ground and simulator training along with logistics support as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Offers are due before 11:30AM CDT, 3 April 2020. All questions are due before 10:00AM CDT, 12 March; answers will be posted to https://beta.SAM.gov Date of delivery/Period of Performance: 17 April 2020 � 31 August 2020 Place(s) of Delivery and Acceptance: TBD (See Attach 1 � Performance Work Statement dated 3 Mar 20) AMENDMENT 1 NOTICE� The solicitation posted on 4 March 2020 is hereby amended. The following has been updated : Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. The Government's response to vendor questions has also been made available.��Due date for offers, the date of delivery/period of performance, and the pricing schedule� remain the same.� AMENDMENT 2�NOTICE� Please be advised of the following minor corrections to the PWS and Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: a) PWS, Para 3.7.1. FROM: �The contractor shall select a formal curriculum for Flight and Ground training (commercial/existing products are encouraged) and present it with the submittal of the quote.� TO: �The contractor sh all select a formal curriculum for Flight and Ground training (commercial/existing products are encouraged). The contractor shall present the proposed syllabus for the selected curriculum with the quote.� b) PWS, Performance Measurement Table FROM: �3.7.4 Simulator Time� TO: �3.7.4 Simulator Instruction� c) Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, para 17 FROM: �The quote in its entirety shall not exceed fifteen (15) pages, double sided� TO: �The quote in its entirety shall not exceed fifteen (15) pages, double sided, not including the syllabus.� d) Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, para 17. Inclusion of the following statement: � In the event a contractor�s file is too large, they should exercise one of the following options: send multiple emails with the file broken out, send the file in a compressed zip file, or upload the quote to DoD SAFE* (safe.apps.mil). Please note that the quote shall not exceed 15 pages, not including the syllabus. DOD SAFE should only be used if the file size of the offeror�s quote is too large to send via email. Contractors must receive an invitational code in order to upload documents to DoD SAFE. In order to receive this code, contractors shall email Capt Shenique Russ (shenique.russ.3@us.af.mil) by 4:30PM CDT, 2 April 2020 requesting an invitational code.� The Government's response to additional vendor questions has also been made available.��Due date for offers, the date of delivery/period of performance, and the pricing schedule� remain the same.�
