Description
The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Missouri Basin Region, Nebraska-Kansas Area Office (NKAO) intends to solicit proposals for the construction of one 40' x 60' steel shop building. The location of work is at 13000 Upper Dam Road in Norton, Kansas. The Norton Project is approximately 2.5 miles west of Norton, Kansas in Norton County. The principal components of the work to be performed include the following tasks: �CONCRETE � Furnish and place concrete slabs and foundation. �STEEL BUILDING � Furnish and erect one new steel building. �UTILITIES � Furnish and install electrical, lighting, plumbing and heating systems. Pursuant to Part 15 and Part 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) on or around April 17, 2020. The RFP will be available for viewing through electronic commerce. Reclamation will issue RFP Number 140R6020R0014 via https://beta.sam.gov, at the link provided in this notice. Interested vendors may also check https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.html. Proposals will be due on or around May 27, 2020 at Reclamation's Missouri Basin Regional Office. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal. The estimated price range of this acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. Reclamation anticipates issuing the RFP under the total small business set-aside program. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238110 and the associated Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 Million. The RFP and any subsequent amendments and/or notices will be available to vendors on these websites after April 17, 2020. The Government anticipates award of this procurement on or around June 30, 2020. IPP: The successful contractor shall electronically submit all payment requests for the anticipated purchase order through the U.S. Department of the Treasury�s Internet Payment Platform System (IPP). If the contractor is unable to comply with the requirement to use IPP for submitting invoices for payment, the contractor must submit a waiver request in writing to the Contracting Officer with its proposal or quotation.
