- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Inpatient Privacy 5B Renovation The Department of Veterans Affairs, 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton, VA 23667 has a requirement for a contractor to provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to renovate space in Wing ""B"" on the 5th floor into twelve (12) new private patient rooms and ancillary spaces at the Durham VA medical center. General Scope: The work will consist of gutting and renovating approximately 8,000 square feet of space in Wing ""B"" on the 5th floor of the existing medical center area into twelve (12) new private patient rooms and ancillary spaces. The work is to be accomplished in a single phase. Estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS: 236220-Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractors Size Standard: $36.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a total service-disabled veteran owned small business set-aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about November 7, 2019. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 45 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice.
