Description
Update as of 1 Apr 2020. The Government is revising documents and drafting responses to questions received from Potential Offerors in accordance with Section L.1.3 Questions of the Solicitation. The volume of questions will require extending the Solicitation Proposal Due Date which will be determined at a future date. Offerors will have adequate time to review the solicitation amendments and make any necessary changes to their proposals. COVID-19 will not impact the proposal submission date. Potential Offerors should check beta.sam.gov frequently for the most updated information and solicitation posting � In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 Alternate I Site Visit (Construction) of this solicitation a site visit was conducted. Please see attachment 21 for the site visit minutes. Attached is the solicitation for a Simplified Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) at Joint Base Andrews and Joint Base Anacostia Bolling.�The Government anticipates the award of one, firm-fixed price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract which will consist of a four (4) year eight (8) month base ordering period, and two (2) one-year option periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion. In Accordance With (IAW) FAR clause 52.236-17 Alt I Site Visit (Construction) a site visit will be conducted on March 4th and 5th, 2020.�� This project is being solicited under AFFARS MP5332.7. Funds are not currently available for this project, and no award will be made until funds become available. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, either before or after the proposal closing date with no obligation to the offeror. FAR clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds will be incorporated into the solicitation. The work to be performed will consist of a wide range of individual construction tasks to include, but not limited to: carpentry, road and parking lot repair, roofing, excavating, interior and exterior electrical, steam fittings, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry and welding. The successful offeror�will be required to furnish all materials, equipment and personnel necessary to design, manage and accomplish individual projects at Joint Base Andrews and Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. The performance periods of task orders placed under the proposed contract may range from 30 to 365 calendar days depending on the project.�Liquidated damages, if applicable, will be identified on each task order placed under the proposed contract. In accordance with (IAW) DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction will be determined at the Task Order level. The successful offeror will be selected using FAR Part 15 Source Selection Procedures. Instruction to Offerors are set forth in Section L (Attachment 15). Evaluation Criteria for Award are set forth in Section M (Attachment 20). Interested parties are encouraged to visit this website frequently for any updates and/or amendments to all documents.
