This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is being posted to beta.SAM.gov. �It is understood that beta.SAM.gov�is the single point of entry for posting of Synopsis/Solicitation to the internet. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A separate, written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N6660420Q8195. The Towed Array Handling Equipment Facility (TAHEF) is the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) certified Designated Overhaul Point for the OK-276 Series Reelable Towed Array Handling System (RTAHS).� The OK-276 Series RTAHS is used to deploy and retrieve the TB-16 and TB-34 Towed Arrays on all U.S. Navy Submarines.� The OK-276 Cable Drive Unit (CDU) and CDU Hydraulic Motor provide positive control of the TB-16 and TB-34 tow cable during transfer operations.� The helical driver gear is a component of the OK-276 CDU and is required for overhauls performed at the TAHEF. This requirement is for ten (10) OK-276 Helical Driver Gear in accordance with (IAW) Drawing # 8-52-145.
