- This is a sources sought. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a Sole Source acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: CH-47 Video Interface Group =========================== Input NSN���������������� ����� P/N��� 5836-01-591-1755�������� 822-2017-002 Output NSN������������������� P/N 5836-01-591-1755�������� 822-2017-002 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 5 � Maximum 126 each (Maximum of 126 each includes quantity of 105 US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 21 each) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334419 and the size standard is 750 employees. The Video Interface Group is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). A Depot Maintenance Requirement (DMWR) has not been identified for this requirement. Currently the only known approved sources for the repair of the video Interface Group is the OEM Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, IA (CAGE 84T51). Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio economic status as applicable. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance to with the AMCOM Maintenance and Overhaul SAR Guidance. These procedures are outlined at the following website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/. Questions concerning SAR submission can be directed to the M&O SAR Team via email: usarmy.redstone.ccdc-avmc.mbx.ed-sar@mail.mil. The solicitation will not close prior to the date stated on the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. This announcement does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisition strategies as deemed appropriate.
