Willow Drive, Suite 300 4100 E. Mississippi Ave Greenwood Village, CO 80111 Glendale, CO 80246 Nature and/or Description of the Action Being Processed: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 world pandemic, an emergent need exists to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for the procurement of 19 negative-pressure airborne infection isolation tents to be distributed to nine (9) medical facilities within the VISN 19 footprint. The tents will be used to isolate patients infected with COVID-19 to avoid spreading the virus to others. FAR13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items: This procurement is for the purchase of negative-pressure isolation tents in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The justification is made publicly available and attached to this posting in accordance with FAR 6.305 procedures at paragraphs (b), (d), (e), and (f).
