- THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. This is a Request for Information (RFI), this is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ), Invitation for Bids (IFB), or Request for Proposals (RFP). No formal solicitation document exists at this present time. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for solely for market research purposes only to gain further knowledge of potential Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) qualified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code search for Build Hospice Unit of 236220, which includes corresponding index entries such as Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice could be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this RFI, a solicitation announcement may or may not be published in Contract Opportunities. This Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential vendors with the resources and capabilities to provide Build Hospice Unit to the following Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC): Loch Raven VAMC, Baltimore, MD 21218 Can you provide/perform the following? 1 Job: Provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to build the Hospice unit at Loch Raven VA Medical Campus. This work entails providing 19,463 GSF additional new space to the Loch Raven Community Living Center (CLC) on top of the Loch Raven Research Building, and to provide a connecting bridge to the existing CLC. The added space will provide a 14 private bed Hospice Unit with the associated resources to support the unit. The project will provide vertical transportation serving the new unit and deliver an enclosed connecting corridor between the new unit and the existing CLC Building. REQUESTED INFORMATION If you are interested, and can provide/perform the aforementioned Construction, please provide the requested information as indicated below. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall also include but not limited to: Company name, address, point of contact, and size of business. Does your company have an FSS contract with GSA or the NAC or are you a contract holder with NASA SEWP V or any other federal contract? If so, please provide the contract type and number. - Please indicate the size status and representations of your business, such as but not limited to: SDVOSB, VOSB with an active registration in VETBIZ, HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Business, Large Business, etc.). 36C24520Q0299 NOTES All Capability Statements/Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be submitted via email only to David.Valenciabonilla@va.gov. Telephone, fax, or any other form of communication inquiries will not be reviewed or accepted. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be received no later than April 17, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). No late submissions will be reviewed. This Sources Sought Notice may or may not assist the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in determining sources. A solicitation of any kind is not currently not available. If a solicitation is issued, it may or may not be announced at a later date, and all interested parties shall respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this Sources Sought Notice.
