Description

Maintenance and service agreement for the Beckman Coulter Iris System located at Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, SC.� The request is for a base year with four (4) option periods.� See Statement of Work for full description of services. PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), the Department of the Navy (DON), on behalf of the Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, NC intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Beckman Coulter, 250 South Kraemer Blvd, Brea, CA, 92822-8000 for a service and maintenance agreement for the iChem Velocity Urinalysis and iQ200 Urinalysis Microscopy instruments.� The requested service is for one (1) base year with four (4) option years.� Beckman Coulter is the manufacturer and sole provider for the requested service identified on the Statement of Work Statement and Justification and Approval.� ��� This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website at https://beta.sam.gov/. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.� For this action, the North American Classification System Code is 811219 and Product Service Code J066. Based on market research and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined that the DON's requirement can only be provided by Beckman Coulter, as they are the sole proprietor authorized to provide the requested services and or products. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all interested parties may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be evaluated and or considered for award.� All interested parties shall provide a response to this requirement to this office NLT 12:00 pm, EST, 17 April 2020.� Responses will be accepted via the FBO or email to the attention of Kloh-Ann Derosin, Contract Specialist, at kloh-ann.c.derosin.civ@mail.mil.� Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
