Description

This is a sources sought. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the requirement detailed below. The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, Material, equipment, tools, and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: Generator, Alternative =========================== OUTPUT NSN:� 6115-01-137-9504 OUTPUT P/N: AE2152MK2 INPUT NSN: 6115-01-137-9504 INPUT P/N: 179-60500-11 / AE2152MK2 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 10 � Maximum 252 each (Maximum OF 252 each includes quantity of 210 US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 42 each) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335312 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The proposed contractual action is a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) maintenance and overhaul contract. The Generator, Alternative is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). A Depot Maintenance Requirement (DMWR) has been identified for this requirement DMWR-55-6115-507 revision date of 25 June, 2013, no change number. The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with Government Specifications. Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company name, Point of Contacts (POCs) to include, name, position, office and mobile telephone numbers and email address. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance to with the AMCOM Maintenance and Overhaul SAR Guidance. These procedures are outlined at the following website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/. Questions concerning SAR submission can be directed to the M&O SAR Team via email: usarmy.redstone.ccdc-avmc.mbx.ed-sar@mail.mil. The solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated on the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. This announcement does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisition strategies as deemed appropriate.
