- NSN: 2590-01-521-9985 MODIFICATION KIT, VE This solicitation is issued to establish an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The IDC will be for a basic term of 3 years and 2 option years or until the aggregate total of the orders place against the contract reach $876,300.00. The minimum value of the solicitation will be satisfied by the first delivery order issued with the basic contract or a quantity of 7.� The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one time at the discretion of the government.� The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. NSN 2590-01-521-9985 is to be procured in-accordance-with drawing NR 16236 2940L0007 REVISION NR A�� DTD 07/27/2004 and the drawing will be available on DIBBs through cfolders. First Article Testing is not required. Higher Level Contract Quality Tailored ISO 9000 applies Product Verification Testing (PVT) applies Inspection / Acceptance:� Origin FOB:� Origin � This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. If this acquisition is for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or has an APO/FPO ship-to address, FDT will not apply and normal procedures should be followed.� For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLAD Procurement Notes C16, FOB Origin, Government Arranged Transportation and C17 First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program - Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).� Additional information about FDT can be found on the FDT website (http://www.dla.mil/FDTPI/). This solicitation is an IDC RFQ and will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations/ April 22, 2020.� Hard copies of this solicitation are not available, and must be downloaded from the internet site above. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of Price, Delivery, Past Performance and Socioeconomic as described in the solicitation.� Reverse Auction (RA) Procurement Note L09 will be included in this solicitation.� The Government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated.
