- Subj: SOLE SOURCE MEMORANDUM FOR 20500-AR101-01 1. Identification of the agency and the contracting activity and specific identification of the document as a ""Limited Source Justification."" This is a sole source justification. Contracting activity is the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001 (Contracts Division Code 02). 2. Nature and/or description of the action being approved. This action will award a firm fixed price purchase order for rugged mission computer from Core Systems to support Code A33 in order to support NSWCPCD scientists and engineers of MVCS project. 3. A description of the supplies or services required to meet the agency�s needs (including the estimated value). The contract effort is to acquire the following: Item: 20500-AR101-01 Quantity of 4 from Core System. The Government�s minimum needs have been verified by the certifying technical and requirements personnel. This memo does not authorize acquisition for other requirements. The estimated value of this effort is not to exceed $45,000. All equipment will be delivered no later than seventy seven(77) working days after award of the order. 4. Identification of the justification rationale and, if applicable, a demonstration of the proposed contractor�s unique qualifications to provide the required supply or service. 2 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, FAR 6.302-1. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) A Division, Code A33, MVCS Project has a requirement to have rugged vehicle configuration agent (VCA) computer from Core Systems. The Core Systems company makes this product.This ruggedized computer is a custom designed model that interfaces with our existing cabling and has had custom boards integrated into the computer to support our digital I/O needs. This product and no other product will meet the need to be integrated into our production system. 5. A determination by the ordering activity contracting officer that the order repreely received, will be considered by the Agency.� Quotes are due no later than�the response date in the posting. Responses/offers shall be submitted electronically, PDF or MS Word Format�to email address in the posting. Any amendment(s) issued to this Request for Quote (RFQ) will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the Offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement.� No telephone requests.
