Description
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI)� to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the delivery, setup, maintenance, and removal of refrigerated trailers that will be used to store human remains from either the COVID 19 and or other related deaths.� These trailers will be located throughout the United States and Territories (both CONUS and OCONUS). The contractor will be responsible for delivery of the trailers designated by the FEMA official. FEMA will not take ownership of the trailers at any time of the contract. The contractor will retain ownership.� The contractor will be responsible for mechanical maintenance including repair of parts that fail during the operation of the trailer.� The contractor will be responsible for the removal of the trailers. The contractor will be responsible for disinfecting the trailers IAW CDC guidelines. SUBMISSIONS FOR THE RFI: The vendor shall submit documentation that demonstrates it has the capabilities to meet the SOW.� The vendor shall provide its ability to provide the estimated trailers in the RFI. The vendor shall provide brief descriptions of similar projects including the number of trailers provided and the dollar value of the orders. The vendor shall be registered in SAM.gov prior to any potential contract. Due to the expedited need of the requirement, FEMA will not wait for vendor to get registered. RFI should be limited to 7 pages.� SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE SENT TO MATTHEW.RAIBLE@FEMA.DHS.GOV, �PLEASE INCLUDE RFQ NOTICE IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF THE EMAIL.
