Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. This procurement is being solicited as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The applicable NAICS Code 333923 - Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System Manufacturing The US Army Corps of Engineers is requesting quotes for parts required for maintaining an existing shiplift located at the Caven Point Marine Terminal (CPMT), Jersey City, NJ. The shiplift was manufactured by Syncrolift, and is a traditional rigid platform, essentially a large elevator consisting of a structural steel and wood platform, four electrically powered wire rope hoists to raise and lover the platform, and a central electrical motor control center to operate the system.
