- Description
- Respond to the survey at https://feedback.gsa.gov/jfe/form/SV_8qBMjJBEOb0pVYx. This requirement is for building automation system (BAS) installation and maintenance services at Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) sites to include CONUS and OCONUS locations. DISA utilizes a building automation system as part of its tools to successfully operate and report on its facility infrastructure. All facilities covered under this contract currently have some level of BAS installed in them. The sophistication of the systems range from simple Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems to web based systems running on virtualized hardware consisting of over 30,000 data points. DISA has BAS equipment installed at datacenter facilities throughout the world and intends to continue the repair, expansion, and upgrade of these systems throughout the enterprise. DISA uses the BAS systems to provide the following benefits to the Government: a. Reduction of utility costs b. Increase facility systems reliability and dependability c. Real-time control and monitoring of remote equipment d. Alert facility personnel to alarm and failure conditions, allowing response to infrastructure situations in a proactive (vice reactive) manner The objectives of this requirement are to provide preventative, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance services in support of DISAs mission and current BAS systems. In advancing DISAs mission, new systems will be installed, current systems will be expanded, and contracts awarded as facility infrastructure requirements change. The BAS systems are to be connected to future infrastructure information technology tools (provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)) to assist DISA in its focus to provide managed, integrated, and reliable tools for data center management. Examples of the tools include Data Center Information Management (DCIM), and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
