- Notice of Intent to award as a sole source requirement to Covanta Stanislaus, Inc. (DUSN 792864563) to provide incineration services of illicit and illegal drugs, substances, and contraband for the San Francisco Area Port. Successful contractor is required be a certified incineration facility located within a 100-mile radius, capable of safely incinerating illicit and illegal goods, materials and contraband to a state of complete incineration or rendered useless, and meet all the requirements of the Statement of Work. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 09:00am Eastern Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendors who believe they can provide the services and can provide proof of ability to meet the requirements should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Dominique Brown, Contract Specialist, by Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 09:00am Eastern Time. Only email submissions sent to the following address will be accepted: dominique.u.brown@cbp.dhs.gov. Information submitted should fully support the company's capability to perform the work required.
