- SPECIAL NOTICE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Pacific District, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Lane Forest Products, Inc. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13 in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The contract will be firm-fixed-price, and the NAICS Code is 212321. The Willamette National Cemetery is located at 11800 SE Mount Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086, has an immediate need for Washed Coarse Sand C-33 to assist 1st and 2nd Interment Sections. The period of performance for this purchase order will be one year from date of order. All deliveries of coarse sand C-33 will be scheduled and delivered within 48 hours. Deliveries will be done between the hours of 8:30 AM thru 3:00 PM Central Time, Monday thru Friday. Deliveries will be made to the Dirt Shed unless directed otherwise This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer no later than 1630 PST, May 04, 2020. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer Brian Trahan at brian.trahan@va.gov. Verbal responses will not be considered. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Lane Forest Products, Inc.
