March 2010 R DFdiscover Software Licenses and Maintenance Support 07724 36C10B20Q0261 05-01-2020 60 N 541519 Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center 23 Christopher Way Eatontown NJ 07724 See Attachments The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics (OPAL), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a sole source contract for the VA Maryland Health Care System Cooperative Studies Program office for DF/Net Research, Inc. DFdiscover software licenses and maintenance support. The TAC intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract with DF/Net Research, Inc., located at 140 Lakeside Ave, High Tech Ave., Suite 310, Seattle, WA 98122-6538. The Statutory Authority being utilized is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The period of performance shall be 12 months from the date of the award, plus one 12-month option period. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541519. The anticipated award date is May 1, 2020. This notification shall close on May 1, 2020.
