- The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1601 Brenner Boulevard in Salisbury, NC 28144 will be soliciting quotes for Fire Suppression Testing and Maintenance Services. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, management and supervision necessary to perform Fire Suppression Testing and Maintenance Services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The service will require the contractor to create initial inventory listing, then provide inspection, testing, maintenance and documentation of Automatic Sprinkler Systems, Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression Systems, and Fire Extinguishers as described herein and in accordance with the latest edition of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25, NFPA 10 and NFPA 96. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24620Q0257 will be issued on or about April 28, 2020. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The estimated period of performance is May 15, 2020 through May 14, 2021 (or contract award date to 1 year from contract award date) as the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 Facilities Support Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $41.5 million. The classification code is H212 Equipment and Materials Testing Services/Fire Control Equipment. All quoters are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Contract Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
