Description
USDA Forest Service, Kaibab National Forest, Tusayan Ranger District, Arizona, has a Request For Quotation (RFQ) for Construction � for Pumphouse Improvements, Replacement of Pumps, Plumbing and Pump Controls. Location:� Location of project is at Tusayan Ranger Station.� The ranger station is 1 mile north of Tusayan, Arizona on State Highway 64.� It is approximately 61 miles north of Williams, AZ.� The Tusayan Ranger Station is an administrative site.� Coordinates of this location is latitude = (35.989075�), longitude = (-112.122114�). The Government Anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract using RFQ Best Value � Tradeoffs.� This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside.� The Small Business size standard is 14 Million under NAICS code 238220.� The Magnitude of this project is from $25,000 to $75,000.� In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, potential vendors need to already be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov The intent of the project will be to replace the existing pumping system including all the plumping, pumps, controls, and the rotary phase converter with a more efficient system.� The current system shall be evaluated with a minimum recommendation of two options including costs.� The government will review and approve the selected option for installation to replace the existing system. A Site Visit Pre-Quotation Meeting has not been scheduled at this time but will be announced in the solicitation and may be mandatory�� A Site Visit Pre-Quotation Meeting has been set for April 17, 2020 10:00am Arizona Time (This date is subject to cancellation or change given evolving conditions with closures associated with COVID-19) ������� The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after April 2, 2020 and will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offers or responses to the solicitation (include the solicitation number in the name of the document) may be sent to the Contracting Officer by email: michelle.l.bahr@usda.gov before the deadline. The Deadline for receipt of responses to the RFQ shall be April 30, 2020, 4:00 p.m. MST.� Has been extended to May 7, 2020, 4:00 p.m.�MST
