- Description
- The USDA intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to EPOCH Life Science Inc. The USDA, ARS, Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) in Orient Point, NY, requires custom gene synthesis and mutations to already synthesized genes to meet our research requirements for Classical Swine Fever Virus (CSFV) and African swine fever virus (ASFV). The vendor is provided a text file with what we want as our end result, the vendor then compares the end result with previous gene synthesis products to determine the most cost effective one to use as a starting point. The vendor then using a combination of new gene synthesis and re-using old gene synthesis builds our construct, in the desired expression vector which we specify.� (See Attached for additional information)
