- Product Service Code:� Y1DZ - CONSTRUCTION OF OTHER HOSPITAL BUILDINGS NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Place of Performance: Los Angeles, CA� 90073� USA � Request for Supplier/manufacture information for Base Isolator System for New Critical Care Center Project to be located at the West Los Angeles Campus of the Greater Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Healthcare System (GLAVAHS). The U.S Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District (SPL) has an announcement regarding a new project for the construction of a New Critical Care Center on the VA Campus for the GLAVAHS.� This project is expected to be between $500M to $1.B.� We are seeking information from suppliers/manufactures of Base Isolator systems for buildings that are larger than 400,000 ft2 and at least five stories tall.� The anticipated award date of the project is Winter 2022. Critical Care Center Project Scope This project provides for the construction of a new Critical Care Center to relocate existing critical and associated ancillary and diagnostic services from seismically-deficient Building 500 and for the construction of a new central utility plant, at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in Los Angeles, CA. The new Critical Care Center will be 450,000 GSF.� This facility will include a mental health ward, surgery suites, pre-operative services, PACU, ICU, Anesthesiology and all support functions for surgery, pharmacy, in-patient intake, radiology, Pathology, Morgue, Central Sterilization, EVS/EVS, and Emergency care service.� The facility will have 160 beds of which 44 will be in the mental health ward.� The location of the new Critical Care Center will be just south of the current Hospital, Building 500. Along with the Critical Care Center, this project will include a new Central Utility Plant (CUP) to replace the existing CUP and will also support the future Research Building and Out Patient Ambulatory Care Building, Parking Structure and other buildings.� It will also include all the necessary utility upgrades to support the new facilities.� This project would have to be constructed to meet LEED silver standards. Submission request to demonstrate capabilities for this project include: Provide three (3) example projects completed within the last 10 years of providing base isolators to new building projects that were at least 300,000 ft2 and over four (4) stories.� In addition, provide the location of engineering staff and manufacturing facilities.
