- Page 2 of 2 Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Brand Name in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide and install Genetec Security Equipment for the Washington DC, VA Medical Center. REQUIRED SERVICES: Genetec Security Equipment and Installation: A. Genetec Security Cameras and Equipment. Brand Description-Security Cameras and Equipment Genetec Genetec Security Base Package Genetec Security Omnicast Standard Package Genetec Security Camera Connection Genetec Advantage OmniCast or Synergies Standard System SV-2011E-E-R14-120TB 2U NVR/Server/ Genetec This notice of intent to Brand Name is not a request for quotations; Interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT May 13, 2020 at 4:30PM EDT. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C245-20-Q-0396 Notice of Intent. This Special Notice of Intent to Brand Name is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this notice will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed- price contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition. INTERESTED & CAPABLE RESPONSES: NCO 5 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services.
