- 36C25020Q0614 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE VeinViewer The Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd Cleveland, OH 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.1061(b)(1)-Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The NAICS code is 339113 with a small business size standard of 750. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with SpecOps Medical Supply 3624 County Road 406 McKinney, TX 75071. The Acute Inpatient Units at the Cleveland VAMC is requesting a VeinViewer. Equipment shall be hospital durable. Shall have an articulating arm and flexible wrist joint movement and be used bedside for head to toe examination. Device shall provide a wide range of customization options such as change of color, size and brightness of images. Information shall be captured, processed, and projected digitally in real time directly onto the surface of the skin. Shall also be operated via AC power of Fastswap lithium Ion batteries to increase periods of usage. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Monday May 11, 2020 at 2PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. �All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.� A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
