The MSPO has an urgent requirement for 12,175 cases of Duosol dialysate solution for Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) for delivery as soon as possible for treating patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) and COVID-19 infection. This item can only be procured from B. Braun authorized dealers. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1). The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412 [Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing] and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1,250 employees. This procurement is also being conducted in accordance with procedures in FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items under the authority for other than full and open competition FAR 13.501(a)(1) sole source (including brand name). If vendors believe they have the technical capability to meet this need through another brand, submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Vendors who are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by going to https://www.sam.gov. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a quotation with manufacturer cut sheets, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
