- Description
- Project consists of deepening the Port of Hueneme federal navigation channels by 4 feet. The new design depths will be -44 ft MLLW for the Approach Channel, and -40 ft MLLW for the remainder of the harbor. Approximately 370,000 cubic yards to be dredged. �Approximately 20,000 cy of unsuitable material to be placed in the existing Confined Aquatic Disposal (CAD) site within the harbor. Remainder of dredged material (350,000 cy) can be placed either in the Nearshore Placement Site or onto Hueneme Beach, located south of Port of Hueneme Entrance. Timber pile remnants may be encountered in Channel A. Contractor must obtain a Ventura County Air Pollution Control District permit. The service code is Y1KF, the NAICS code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The proposed award is to be made to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the terms and conditions of the invitation for bids (IFB) and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price related factors, in accordance with FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. TENTATIVE ISSUE DATE IS�MAY 21, 2020.� It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be awarded within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of bids.� The IFB/Plans and Specifications will only be available at the beta.SAM.gov website.� No additional media will be provided.� Offerors are responsible for monitoring the beta.SAM.gov website for any updates to this Notice and/or subsequent solicitation.� The Government is not responsible for any loss of connectivity or for the offeror's inability to access the documents posted at the referenced website.� For further information, please access the beta.SAM.gov website.� ALL OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS ACQUISITION MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, EVALUATION AND OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
