- PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: �ES 00306-9P, REPAIR LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM, BUILDING 202 AND 726, LOCATED IN CAMP DARBY (PISA) AND BUILDING 5012 AND 5131 LOCATED IN THE STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE AREA, Tombolo (pisa), ITALY. SOLICITATION NUMBER: W912PF20Q0035 Description of the project: This is a Design-Build project involving the repair of fuel oil leak detection systems at Building 202 and 726, located in Camp Darby, Pisa and Building 5012 and 5131 located in the Storage and Maintenance Area, in Tombolo, Pisa, Italy. The general scope of the project is to replace, in four buildings, the existing fuel oil pipes from the aboveground fuel oil tank, located outdoor the building, up to the boiler�s burner for Building 202, 5012 and 726 and up to the electric generator for Building 5131. All the existing fuel oil pipes are buried. The fuel tank of Building 5131 also supply the boiler and the fuel pipes already have the secondary containment and the leak detection system. The new fuel oil pipes will be equipped with secondary containment and leak detection system. The project includes civil/architectural demolition, repair and upgrade, mechanical system and electrical system. The work shall be executed in compliance with all applicable Italian Laws, Italian Codes and American Codes, all applicable Italian CEI and European CEI EN norms, all applicable NFPA codes and all other applicable Unified Facilities Criteria. The project consists of the following: Phase 1: Design Phase 2: Construction Phase 1: Design: The work in phase 1 consists of designing details and providing calculations and everything necessary to define all the works required to fulfill the scope of work. The General Technical Specifications and the Statement of Work will be provided with the solicitation. Phase 2: Construction: The work consists of performing all the features of the project as designed in phase 1 and approved by the U.S. Government, in accordance with proposed and approved design and progress plan. Location of the work: The site of the proposed work is Darby Military Community, Pisa and Storage and Maintenance Area, Tombolo, Pisa,, Italy. Magnitude of the project:� The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 (Euro 21,467.50) and $100,000 (Euro 85,870.00) METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed price type contract.� Performance period: 205 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (Design and Construction). The Performance Period will be as follows: -Design phase 105 calendar days; -Construction phase 90 calendar days; SITE VISIT: �Will be held on 23 June 2020 at 09:30 hours. � HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate all interested parties will be invited to indicate their interest by submitting an email not later than Close of Business (COB) by May 21, 2020, to patrizia.meloni2.ln@mail.mil. �Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number/project number/Title and the name of the company, the address, the phone number, the fax number, the e-mail address, and name of the person(s) who will be present at the site visit (maximum two attendees): first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, type and number of identification document.
