Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a requirement for Coal Bin-Waste/Scrap Yard removal. The Contractor shall provide all transportation, material hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to complete the services. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Place of Performance: The Coal Bin Waste/Scrap Yard removal services will be conducted at the W.G. Hefner Medical Center 1601 Brenner Ave. Salisbury, NC. 28144 Able to travel to Charlotte HCC, Charlotte CBOC and Kernersville HCC for pick ups of items. Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a one (1) time contract beginning June 1, 2020 May 31, 2021 in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a 100 % Total Small Business (SB) set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 562219, Other Nonhazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal with a Size Standard of $16.5 million. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about May 18, 2020 via Contract Opportunities website via https://beta.sam.gov/. All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the Contract Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following: SAM database at https://www.sam.gov Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) must be registered and verified in VetBiz.
